Method for making hinge elements

The three substantially equal-length profiled elements are cut off from profiled strands to form a grooved profile (1) and two swivel profiles (5). The swivel profiles are notched in the grooving area at corresponding positions in the longitudinal direction. The swivel profile elements are inserted in the groove profile in the longitudinal direction with the insertion of a fixing element engaging behind the groove with a threaded axis projecting through the groove at the positions where the swivel profiles are notched. A connector with threaded bore is then fitted on the fixing element by turning the latter.
