A vibration receiver, partic. for a motor knock sensor, has a threaded ring (20) at the pressure sleeve (2) with an axially projecting shoulder (21) at the side away from the seismic mass (7) at the outer radial section. It forms a labyrinth seal (23) with the inner recesses (22) at the circumference of the pressure sleeve (2). The housing (1) is of injection moulded plastic, pref. polyamide PA66 GF35 worth glass fibre glass reinforcement. which penetrates onto the labyrinth seal (23) during the injection moulding process for the sealing action. The housing can also be of polyurethane.
