<p>The present invention relates to a method of casting elongate explosive substance bodies of small, preferably circular, cross section compared with their own length, made primarily of such meltable explosive substance mixtures as contain solid components with a great tendency to sediment the molten explosive substance mixture. According to the invention, cores (3) are cast first with a polygonal cross section in horizontally lying moulds and these cores (3), when they have set, are transferred to vertical final moulds where they are cast round with further explosive substance mixture to the desired cross section.</p> |
