The sensor system involves a detector (10) which is arranged at a baseplate (6) of the housing, that in addition can determine a vertical as well as a horizontal displacement of the inertial body (3). The inertial body is substantially made of ferromagnetic material. The housing including the further mechanical components (2,5,6) arranged at or in the housing consist substantially of non-magnetic material. The detector (10) contains an electric resonant circuit, the electromagnetic field lines of which can be influenced at least partially by the position of the inertial body.
