Burning sewage sludge as fuel in a fluidised slag tap furnace

摘要

Sewage sludge after treatment in a fuel processor is burnt as fuel in a fluidised slag tap furnace. The device used includes a flue gas cleaning apparatus. Also claimed is a process for disposing of sewage sludge by simultaneous drying and comminution to a desired grading, separation of solid and gas phases in a cyclone collector and introduction of the milled and dried sludge into a fluidised slag tap furnace. Flue gases are led off at a temp. suitable for the reduction of NOx and SOx and any slag produced is carried off.
