The present invention relates to a device for collecting medical waste material, particularly cutting, pointed and/or sharp waste material. The device is characterized in that it is essentially comprised of a receptacle having a bottom portion (1) and a top portion (2) for closing the bottom portion (1), said portions being assembled between each other by nesting and fixed in that position by welding or gluing or any other final assembly process, and it comprises a tamper-proof closure means (3) for closing the receptacle after it has been filled. The invention applies more particularly to the treatment of used objects in hospital, medical and paramedical fields. |
