A hot-sealing device for a hot-sealable covering foil (3) with a thermoplastic container foil (1) having a heat-shaped blister (2) for receiving objects has a feed cylinder (11) and a heated sealing cylinder (12) whose axis is parallel to the axis of the feed cylinder (11) and that is pressed against the latter. Alternatively, the feed cylinder (11) is rotated backwards over a determined angle, against the direction of transport, when the sealing cylinder (12) is lifted off the feed cylinder (11) during standstill.
