<p>A cone shaped body (10) has been inserted into a burner nozzle (9) inside a metal net (11) to provide a burner for lamps that produces better light and a lower sound level. The tip of the cone is pointed against the gas flow to that the gas flowing out of the net is uniformly distributed. This means that the discharged gas at the upper and the lower end of the nozzle have about the same velocity. This uniform gas flow produces a uniform flame about the nozzle which gives a better light and a lower sound level.</p> |
