Insulated adaptor plate for mounting on multiphase bus=bar system

The adapter plate (1) accommodates a multiphase busbar system and can accommodate a load switch (6, 7). Terminals (9) are provided for the incoming supply to the switch and the plate is made of insulated material and is rectangular, preferably square, in shape. The terminals are fitted at the centre of the adapter face and form the terminal connections or are fitted with suitable connections (15, 16; 32, 32'; 35) which are in line across the adapter face. In the area on both sides of the terminals fittings (22) are provided to mount a load switch in a position enabling it to be connected to the terminal connections.
