Electric drive control for vehicle window or sliding roof

A compact and simple drive control for a window (1) of a motor vehicle contains a small electric motor (2a) which is attached to the lower edge of the window and has a fixed outer stator part and inner rotor part and a threaded spindle (3) attached to the frame part (4). In the rotor part there is an inner hole with internal winding which is in engagement with the threaded spindle (3). The electric motor (2a) is connected to a commutating and control electronic system (7) via a feed line (6). When the electric motor (2) is turned, it migrates together with the window (1) along the threaded spindle (3).
