The drawer guide has guide rails (20) for guiding the drawer. In order that the drawer has a small construction depth, swivel arms (23) are provided at the rear end of the drawer, which swivel arms run in the guide rails (20) with running rollers (25), are swivelled inwards at the rear end of the insertion movement, and fold against the rear wall (14) of the drawer. Holding devices (31) are provided to keep the swivel arms (23) in the swivelled-in state for inserting the drawer in the furniture. The drawer can be transported and inserted in the furniture with the swivel arms swivelled in. Only after complete insertion of the drawer in the furniture up to the end stop are guide pieces (27) of the swivel arms retained by catch devices so that the swivel arms are swivelled out when the drawer is subsequently pulled out.
