In a data processing array, each processor can carry out an INE (Interrupt if Not Equal) instruction. This compares the results of two memory locations, and if they are not the same the processor will generate an interrupt signal to interrupt a central processor. A second invention (Figures 2, 3a) is that when processors communicate with each other over the bus, a parity signal is used. A third invention (Figures 11-13) relates to using the clock to control the interpolation of coefficients. The system can be used in an audio signal processor. |
