<p>A computer of this invention includes a RAM (4) which stores sequentially a series of calculation expression data composed of numerical data and function data input by an input unit (5), a control unit (S11 and FIGS. 6-9) for determining whether the respective data input by the input unit are valid for calculation and for storing in the RAM no data which is ineffective for calculation, and for setting a check mode (F = 1) in which the result of calculation is proved, and a comparator (S22) which sequentially compares, in a check mode set by the control unit (S11 and FIGS. 6-9), numerical data and function data input again with the corresponding data stored in the RAM. First, when a series of calculation expression data is input by the input unit (5), it is determined whether the input data is valid for calculating purposes. Only data required for calculation is stored in the RAM. Data unrelated to the calculation is not stored in the RAM. After the series of calculation data has been stored, the check mode (F = 1) is set. By newly inputting a series of calculation expression data, which is believed to be the same as the previous input data, this newly input data is compared with the data stored in the RAM to determine whether the former is coincident with the latter. The result of this determination is reported to the user to thereby achieve a check operation of the input calculation data. <IMAGE></p> |
