<p>The suspension comprises a shock absorber (1) whose lower part is connected to a wheel (R) and to a suspension arm (B) fixed to the vehicle chassis (H). The absorber upper part is engaged inside a helicoidal spring (2), with central axis (20), which is supported in the lower part on a lower dish (3) fixed to the shock absorber, and at the top on an upper dish (4) fixed to the vehicle body (C). The resultant (F3) of the spring support forces on the upper and lower dishes has an inclination ( alpha ) to its central axis so that it can be directed in a converging direction with the wheel force (F1) and the suspension arm force (F2). The support contacts between the lower and upper dishes and the respective end coils of the spring are at a point.</p> |
