PURPOSE:To reduce the storage time by devising a positive or a negative feedback current to be selected, turning on a switching semiconductor element at a high speed regardless of its characteristic and taking properly its switching timing. CONSTITUTION:In the drive circuit provided with a 1st transformer 3 having at least a positive feedback winding and a driving winding connecting to a control terminal of the switching semiconductor element 1 and a 2nd transformer 8 having a primary winding inserted in series in a main current path of the switching semiconductor element 1 and a secondary winding coupled electromagnetically with the primary winding, the positive feedback winding of the 1st transformer 3 and the secondary winding of the 2nd transformer 8 are connected in through a reverse current prevention element to form a closed loop, and one 3rd winding or over is connected to one switch element or over in series connection with the secondary winding of the 2nd transformer 8 and in parallel connection with the reverse current prevention element. |
