FIELD: conversion of solar radiation into electric energy for in-flight power supply of space vehicle. SUBSTANCE: vessel 2 is oriented to so that sun rays are perpendicular to vessel walls with louvre shutters 20 open; on opposite side, louvre shutters are open to cold space of cosmos. Difference in temperature gives rise to evaporation, transfer of liquid, condensation and circulation over vessel 6 - pipe line 7 loop and conversion of flow motion into rotary motion of rotor 11 - vessel 3. Rotor 11 transmits rotation to generator 13 which delivers electric power to space vehicle control panel via cables 14. Device may be used for supply of space vehicles in prolonged flights where solar radiation is adequately activity and for supply of meteorological stations on ground. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. |
