FIELD: railway transport; electric rolling stock with automatically controlled separate excitation of traction electric motors, automatic electric regulation of traction and generative brake forces of DC electric locomotive. SUBSTANCE: device has independent speed governor 1 for each unit connected by one input to speed meter 2 and by output to first input of minimum signal separation element 3, traction and brake force regulator 4 connected by output to second input of element 3 and by one input to output of first multiplier unit 5 which is connected by one input to armature current sensor 6 and by other input, through series-connected first intensity setter 7 and inertia filter 8, to output of element 3. Second multiplier unit 9 is connected by one input to the same output of element 3. Other input of unit 9 is connected to speed meter 2. Output of unit 9 is connected to first input of summing amplifier 10 connected by second input to voltage pickup 11 and by output, through second intensity setter 12, to one of inputs of armature current regulator 13 connected by, other input to armature current sensor 6 and by output, to input of excitation converter 14 which energizes field winding of traction motors 15 and 16 and, common for all locomotive units speed setter 17 traction and brake forces setter 18 connected to other input of corresponding governors 1 and 4 of each locomotive unit.
