<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the assemble workability of a vehicle by inserting individual functional units into a vehicle body having an engine room and a cockpit for overall assembly, in finally-assembling the vehicle. SOLUTION: A ventilation/heat module, an instrument panel, a steering device, and a glass pane cleaning device are integrated in a compact structural unit as a module 20. An end wall incorporated into the module 20 is brought into contact with a crossbeam 12, and is locked by a snap coupling device against a crossbeam 12 and a side part in order to insert the module 20 into a vehicle body from a cockpit 18. The end wall is connected to the side part of the vehicle body, the crossbeam 12, and the other vehicle body by means of a fixing member additionally. The cockpit side part of the module 20 is supported by a second crossbeam 13 in the module 20, and the crossbeam 13 itself is inserted into the module 20 and connected to the vehicle body side part immovably.</p> |
