<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate wire size measuring errors, and correctly regulate wire length by disposing plural low slidableness members along a wire guide groove of a U-turn guide for smoothly inverting a wire along the U-turn guide by the low slidableness members. CONSTITUTION: A wire 9 supplied by a size measuring roller 22 is introduced from an entrance part 18 of a U-turn guide 4 to a semicircular guide groove 3, so it slides on plural roller bearings 2 to be smoothly inverted by 180deg. The wire 9 directly gets in contact with an inner wall of the guide groove 3 almost only at an arc section on the entrance side and the exit side, and it slides on an outer circumferential surface of the roller bearings 2 at other sections, so it is smoothly bent and introduced at extremely low slide resistance. The arc section on the entrance side of the guide groove 3 curves the wire 9 only a little to smoothly deliver it to the first roller bearing 2. Inspection errors of the wire 9 are thus eliminated, thereby length of the wire 9 can be correctly regulated.</p> |
