PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch/brake assembly which can be further simply disassembled and repaired. SOLUTION: An output hub 20 of a clutch/brake assembly 10 including an input hub 12 and a flange 15 fixed thereto is supported rotatably with respect to the input hub in the clutch/brake assembly. A boss 20b is formed on the outer surface of the output hub 20. A friction plate 22 is disposed between the lower surface of the flange and the upper surface of the output hub 20. A frictional material ring 23 is fixed to the upper surface of the friction plate 22. The friction plate 22 is connected to be rotated with the output hub 20 and moved in the axial direction to the output hub 20. A finger-like part 22a is formed on the peripheral edge part of the friction plate 22. A slot 22b is formed through each finger-like part, and each boss passes through each slot 22b. After the output hub 20 is fitted to the friction plate 22, the end of each finger-like part 22a is bent to hold the output hub 20 on the friction plate. By engagement of the finger-like part 22a with the boss, the friction plate 22 and the output hub 20 are rotated as one unit. |
