PURPOSE: To obtain a bushing base plate having stable joining strength and form matched with spinning conditions and having long life by inserting and fixing a hollow pipe-like material having circular cross section when a hole of bushing base plate is circular or a hollow-like material having modified cross section when the hole has a specific form. CONSTITUTION: A hole whose diameter on glass charging side is larger than the diameter on glass discharging side, having circular or modified cross section is prepared in a bushing base plate raw plate 1. A hollow pipe-like material 3 whose top size on glass discharge hole side is same as or smaller than the hole size on glass charge and whose outer size of top on glass charging side is larger than the hole size on discharge side of hole of raw plate 1 is inserted and fixed into the above hole. At this time, when the hole of bushing base plate raw plate 1 is circular, a hollow pipe-like material 3 having circular cross section is used and when the hole of the bushing base plate raw plate 1 has a specific form, a hollow pipe-like material 2 having modified cross section is used. Then, the hollow pipe-like material is joined to the hole by thermal diffusion to provide the objective bushing base plate 4. |
