PURPOSE: To provide a sealable container having a high practical use whose lid can be joined with the container body easily and securely by providing on the lid a lid-side hinge piece contiguously to the perimetric wall of a joining part with the interposition of a thin piece and on the container body a container- side hinge piece which joins the lid-side hinge piece. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a container body 10 in which powder detergent or the like is contained and a lid 20 which opens and closes the opening. In the lid 20 a joining part 22 is formed, which rises from a flat top side 21 and is joined with the perimetric projecting edges of the container body 10 by being fitted together, and at a part of a skirt 25 which extends down from the joining part 22 a lid-side hinge piece 28 is formed. The joining part 22 has the shape of a hollow, into which hollow the perimetric projecting edges 11 of the container body 10 are fitted to close the container. The lid-side hinge piece 28 is provided contiguously to the lower end of the perimetric wall of the joining part 22 with the interposition of a thin piece 29; two projections 15a formed on a rectangular container-side hinge piece 15 are fitted respectively into holes 28b opened through the lid-side hinge piece 28. |
