PURPOSE: To provide a treating device enabling to make the exhaust gas from an ethylene oxide gas sterilizer perfectly harmless and also hardly generating a secondary waste product or extremely lessening it. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas treating device is connected with an adsorption tower 1 for adsorbing the ethylene oxide gas in the exhaust gas and a catalystic combustion device 2 for burning the ethylene oxide gas in the exhaust gas in series.
