摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain a glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material in which orientation of glass fibers can be reinforced in a required direction after a product is molded by providing ribs with at most a specified height and a specified height/width ratio in a specified direction. CONSTITUTION: In a plate-like glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material 1 contg. 20-70wt.% reinforcing glass fiber with a mean length of 7-20mm and 30-80wt.% thermoplastic resin, the direction of ribs 2 is arranged by molding in the direction to which strength of a product is required in the product after molding. In addition, the shape of the ribs 2 is pref. one with a height of at most 10mm and the height/width ratio of at most 5. When the height is too high, a large pressure is needed on manufacturing and when the height/width ratio is too large, the orientation of the glass fibers in the ribs 2 is reversely turned during a sheet is prepd. and orientation in the expected direction becomes unexpected. The height of the rib is preferably about 3mm. When it is smaller than this, orientation effect of glass fibers is small after molding.
