The rectangular plate is moulded in rubber or plastic. It has seven longitudinal slots (2), each with 33 short raised notches at right angles to it on the underside. A rubber band (14) of circular section is passed through the slot and a stud (17) is inserted in the loop (15) so formed. This holds it in position. The free end of the band is passed over the remote control and down through the same slot. It is anchored by a second stud (17), which is then restrained by the raised end of the notch (3).
