PURPOSE:To enable a high speed displaying to be carried out and to enable a deterioration of image quality of a displayed image to be attained by a method wherein an image processing device is comprised of a transfer means and a generating means for interpolating and generating image data interpolated in a video frame memory transferred by the transferring means in response to the adjoining image data. CONSTITUTION:A main scanning and a sub-scanning are read out for every one pixel for eight pixels in an image memory 3. The main scanning and sub- scanning are written for every one pixel for every four pixels on the video frame memory 7. An amount of image data to be transferred to the image memory 3 and the video frame memory 7 is 1/64 as compared with that of transferring of full pixels. In turn, a lack of pixel is transferred to the video frame memory 7. Interpolation processing is carried out with data of pixel near the noted pixel in the transferred data to cause a deterioration of image quality to be restricted and a high speed image displaying can be attained. With such an arrangement, it is possible to perform a high speed displaying operation and to restrict a deterioration in image quality of the displayed image. |
