FIELD: timber industry and forestry. SUBSTANCE: widely known loading device of logging tractor has loading board mounted on tractor frame for reciprocating along tractor frame longitudinal axis under action of frame set into turning by hydraulic cylinder and mechanism providing longitudinal movement of log bundle to be loaded which has secured on tractor frame with traction cable passed over at least one pulley. Axle of pulley is stationary mounted on loading board. This device is of complex design with high metal usage. proposed loading device has no such drawbacks owing to the fact that movable sheave 17 is installed between winch 2 and pulley 12 with axle 11 installed on board 4. Movable sheave 17 changes length of cable 3 between winch 2 and pulley 12 by means of resilient member, for instance, spring 14, which makes it possible to change position of logged bundle in longitudinal plane relative to board 4 automatically, depending on tractor motion and resistance to bundle drawing.
