摘要 FIELD: nuclear power stations. SUBSTANCE: in order to prevent boiler water from acidification, which considerably enhances corrosion process, and simultaneously reduce risk of alkali corrosion of metal when increasing content of nonvolatile alkalies in water deep evaporation zones, boiler water is treated with dosed amounts of pH-controlling buffer solutions of lithium and ammonium metaborates. Dosage of buffer solutions is accomplished by means of a device determining proportion between equivalent concentrations of sodium cations and strong acid anions in boiler water, which is in origin of subsequent commands switching on admission of either lithium or ammonium metaborate solution into feeding water. EFFECT: increased reliability of steam generators' operation due to inhibition of metal corrosion and deposit formation in the generator piping.
