FIELD: pharmacy, medicine. SUBSTANCE: balsam has bioactive substances and gel-forming composition. Biologically active substances are bornyl or isobornyl acetate, α-pinene, camphor, salicylic acid and sodium salicylate. Gel-forming base has: distilled water, glycerol, ethanol, or isopropanol and block-copolymer of ethylene and propylene oxides. Balsam shows antimicrobial, antiinflammatory and analgetic actions. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of balsam. |
