FIELD: automotive industry; car auxiliaries. SUBSTANCE: windshield wipers of known design have two main drawbacks. First one is cleaning of only part of windshield, as blade reciprocates and windshield glass is either rectangular or trapezoidal, with some sections of glass remaining inaccessible for blade. Known windshield wipers clean, as a rule, up to 80 % of glass surface. Second drawback is nonuniform pressure of blade to glass caused by variation of glass curvature on path of blade. Windshield wiper of proposed design version has no such drawbacks. EFFECT: improved cleaning of windshield glass. |
