PURPOSE: To provide the subject device capable of readily performing installation work, preventing elongation of root with a root elongation-inhibiting part and raising seedlings for a long period of time by laying a root-defending sheet having a root elongation-inhibiting part on its surface as an upper layer and a water-holding sheet as a lower layer on an upper face of an inclined bed. CONSTITUTION: A root-defending sheet 2 is laid as an upper layer and a water- holding sheet 3 is laid as a lower layer on an upper face of an inclined bed 1 and a nourishing solution-supplying part 4 is placed above the slope of the inclined bed 1. A root elongation-inhibiting part 6 is placed between both side parts of the root-defending sheet 2 on the inclined bed 1 and an adjacent culture medium block 5. |
