PURPOSE: To obtain a stopper head capable of stabilized multiple casting by preventing the trouble in continuous casting due to the abnormal erosion and improving the flow rate control accuracy because the formation of deposit on the head is prevented. CONSTITUTION: One or >=2 kinds among alumina, alumina-zirconia, mullite and zirconia mullite are mixed to obtain the stopper head contg. >=80wt.% alumina and <=10wt.% silica and free from graphite or carbon. |
