PURPOSE: To form a floating building berth in a compact manner as stability in a lateral direction is held by a method wherein front and rear airtight chambers by which the interior of each float is partitioned are unevenly divided in a longitudinal direction, in a floating building berth wherein a pair of floats are juxtaposed on both sides in the direction of width of a loading platform. CONSTITUTION: A loading platform 10 on which a small boat is placed has a frame structure and is supported in a floating state on a water surface by means of two floats 16 and 17. The floats 16 and 17 are consist of a hollow long can body, the internal space is partitioned in a longitudinal direction by means of partition walls 8 and 9 and partitioned into front and rear airtight chambers 16d, 16e; 17d, 17e. In this case, the partition walls 8 and 9 are arranged in a position deviated in a longitudinal direction for the central parts of the floats 16 and 17. Buoyancy on the rear side of the float 16 is increased to a value higher than buoyancy on the front side. A floating building berth A is longitudinally inclined and the inclination is exerted as a force by which inclination in a lateral direction of the floating building berth A is suppressed. |
