PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a lower cost, a minimized trouble and an accurate weighing by providing a working device of a piston with a gear designed to be meshed with a rack attached to the piston. SOLUTION: This dental compound applicator whose tip part is linked to a syringe containing a dental compound and a plunger has a shaft 1 and a coupler 3 for linking to a syringe capsule 4 provided at the front part thereof. The syringe capsule 4 is a hollow cylinder body and has the dental compound positioned at the front part thereof and the coupler 3 has an insertion part 5 for cooperation with a protrusion on the side of the syringe capsule 4. A part of a piston 6 which sticks out from the shaft 1 and is provided with a thumb plate 8 at the rear end is designed to be a rack 12, which 12 is meshed with a pinion 13 linked to a grip major gear 14 so that the part can be displaced ahead of the rack 12, namely, the piston 6 by a force of a finger. |
