摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain an ink jet recording sheet excellent in ink absorbability and imparting high printing density and high image sharpness. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet recording sheet is obtained by providing an ink receiving layer on at least one surface of a support and characterized by that inorg. pigment with a BET specific surface area of 100m<2> /g or more, an adhesive and water repelling resin fine particles with true specific gravity of 1.5 or less are contained in the ink receiving layer. Pref., the water repelling resin fine particles are silicone resin particles.
