WHEELCHAIR FRAME AND CASTER ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve straight travelling stability at a high speed maintaining higher maneuvability by supporting a caster assembly on the rear side at a base frame part having a plurality of wheels containing two front wheels individually driven by a motor. SOLUTION: A wheel chair frame has a base frame part made up of a central beam 1 which extends in the direction of running to support a lateral axis 2 on the front side thereof and respective end parts of the lateral shaft 2 support front wheels 3 driven by an electric motor 4. The wheels 3 are individually rotatable about an axis 5 and drivably born by a support arm 6 and a push 7 on the lateral shaft 2. Behind the central beam 1, a caster assembly 13 is supported having a swivel shaft 14 slidably mounted on a push 15 and the caster assembly 13 applies a rotary force to the swivel shaft 14 in the direction of a straight travelling position with an eccentric device mounted on the swivel shaft 14.
