PURPOSE: To obtain homogeneously mashed soybean by uniformly heating raw mashed soybean as the intermediate stock for soybean milk in the subject steaming kettle. CONSTITUTION: An agitating implement 10 consisting of spiral screw is set up inside a kettle body 3 and is revolvingly driven by a driving machine installed outside the kettle to forcibly agitate raw mashed soybean in the kettle. The agitating implement 10 is provided with agitating blades 14 each having a diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the kettle body 3 and flowingly agitating the raw mashed soybean gradually toward the inner bottom of the kettle. The inner bottom is equipped with a bearing unit 15 to support a driving shaft 12 of the agitating implement 10. The outer surface of the unit 15 is equipped with a steam jacket 27, and steam feed ports 27 are provided at plural spots on the kettle inner peripheral surface of the jacket. |
