PURPOSE: To dispense with a carrier plate, by joining a guide roller sliding or rotating on a guide rail to an inner cable and connecting it to form a closed loope. CONSTITUTION: A main guide rail 2 is vertically fixed to the inner wall of a door panel 13 and upper and lower two guide rollers 3, 4 are provided so as to be vertically transferable and the lower end of a windshield glass 12 is fixed. An inner cable 5 is connected to the guide rollers 3, 4 and turned at an idle pulley 6 of the upper part of the guide rail 2 and again turned at another idle pulley 7 of the lower end through a driving device 8 and returned to the guide rollers 3, 4 as a loop. The sub-guide rail 9 regulates the windshield glass 12 together with the guide rail 2 in a two-point support structure. The guide rail 2 has the same sectional form with a lip-grooved steel and it is curved so as to extend the opening groove in accordance with the windshield glass 12. A long hole is formed at the middle of the lower end of the windshield glass 12 and the guide rollers 3, 4 are protruded at the upper and lower positions of the rear face side. |
