<p>PURPOSE: To reduce burden of document sorting work by memorizing a discharge position of a discharged recording sheet by a memorizing means when specified conditions are satisfied, and controlling to discharge the recording sheet to the discharge position which is different from the previous discharge position. CONSTITUTION: An offset catch tray (OCT) 30 is composed in such a way that a discharge position of a discharged recording sheet after recording of an image can be changed in a crossing direction to a discharge direction. The discharge position of the recording sheet discharged to the OCT 30 is memorized by a non-volatile memory (memorizing means) 20, and it is controlled that the recording sheet is discharged to the OCT 30 to the discharge position which is different from the previous discharge position. The recording sheet is thus discharged to the different discharge positions, and an end of documents can be recognized at a glance. Document sorting work can thus be reduced.</p> |
