PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid builder composition, excellent in liquid stability without adversely affecting a washing machine even in use for along period and capable of providing excellent detergency by using thereof with a detergent composition consisting essentially of a surfactant in combination. CONSTITUTION: This liquid builder composition contains 5-30wt.% aminocarboxylate such as a nitrilotriacetate or an ethylenediaminetetraacetate and 5-40wt.% silicate and the total amount thereof is within the range of 20-50wt.% expressed in terms of weight in the composition. The composition is especially useful as a liquid builder for laundry cleaning for business use and used together with a detergent composition consisting essentially of a surfactant. Prescribed amounts of both are separately charged into a washing machine by using, e.g. a constant rate pump and other blending components, etc., as necessary, can be blended. |
