<p>PURPOSE: To miniaturize the brake operating oil chamber of a disc brake so as to facilitate air taking-out operation, and also simplify and facilitate the assembly work of a piston to a caliper. CONSTITUTION: A piston 21 is formed by loosely fitting a bottomed cylindrical body 23 in the stepped hole 22b at one end of a cylindrical body 22, a bottomed adjust sleeve 32 is fitted in the other end of the cylindrical body 22 through a seal ring 24 and energized in a returning direction by a returning spring 39 so that the rotation of the adjust sleeve 32 is regulated, and the taper surface 29 of the flange 28 of an adjust bolt 27 which is screwed around the male screw of the adjust sleeve 32, is bought in pressure contact with the taper surface 25 of the inner surface of the bottomed cylindrical body by a spring 30.</p> |
