Each module preferably incorporates a central cage covered by a grille on its upstream face and an aperture plate on its downstream face. The inner wall forming the radial member of the cage has a tapered profile from upstream to downstream sides to facilitate the flow of material from the upstream compartment to the downstream compartment through the cage.</p> |
