PURPOSE: To provide a bundling band having strength sufficient to pack relatively light matter inclusive of a newspaper to transport the same and having no possibility damaging a packing film or injuring the hand of a transport worker at the time of use in packing and capable of suppressing the generation of a powder or a vertical cracking phenomenon during packing work. CONSTITUTION: A bundling band molded by extruding polypropylene being a raw material from an extrusion molding machine and subjected to stretching treatment and embossing processing is formed so that the side parts 2 thereof are made thicker than the central part 1 thereof and have a circular shape.
