PURPOSE: To adjust the differential limited force only by changing or replacing pinion gears. CONSTITUTION: A differential device is provided with a differential case to be rotated by the engine, output side helical side gears 35, 37 which are rotatably supported in the differential case, long and short helical pinion gears 55, 57 having first gear parts 59, 65 which are engaged with the gears 35, 37 individually and second gear parts 61, 67 engaged with each other, and accommodation holes 51, 53 which are formed in the differential case and slidably accommodate the gears 55, 57. In the gears 55, 57, small diameter parts 69, 71 are formed on the outer side in the axial direction of the supporting point of the engagement reaction in the first and second gear parts 59, 65, 61, 67.
