<p>Cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition characterized in that it comprises oxyacanthine, a derivative thereof, a cosmetic or pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, or an extract of a plant, such as Berberis vulgaris or barberry, containing same. A specific association is that of oxyacanthine and a saponin. Said composition is especially useful for stimulating hair growth, retarding loss of hair or combatting pruritus.</p> |
