PURPOSE: To obtain an unsaturated polyester resin composition which has excellent workability and excellent flowability at a low temp. and a low pressure and can give a molding having a satisfactory appearance; and to obtain a process for producing a molding thereof. CONSTITUTION: Reinforcing fibers are added to a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester resin, 0.1-10 pts.wt. monohydric aliphatic alcohol having an m.p. of 40-100 deg.C, e.g. cetyl alcohol 0.1-10 pts.wt sorbitan fatty acid or glycerol fatty acid ester having an m.p. of 40-100 deg.C, e.g. sorbitan tribehenate or glycerol monostearate, and 50-350 pts.wt. fine inorganic filler particles, the content of the reinforcing filler in the composition being 2-40wt.%. |
