PURPOSE: To prevent interior or exterior materials for a building from being contaminated or spoiled by a method wherein materials, each made up by coating the surface of a base board with a primer layer mainly composed of a specified resin and by providing an antibacterial protection layer composed of coating material made up by mixing specified antibacterial agent in specified density ratios, are used. CONSTITUTION: A primer layer 2 is made by coating the surface on one side of a nonmetallic base board 1 with a coating material mainly composed of acrylic resin, or oxidized primer layers are made on the surface on one side or all the sides of a metallic base board 1 with a coating material mainly composed of phenolic resin and vinylbutyral resin with phosphoric acid mixed in 0.1-1.0wt.%. An antibacterial protection layer 3 mainly composed of acrylic resin and urethane resin is made by coating on the surface of the primer layer 2 or the oxidized primer layer. The antibacterial layer 3 is made of coating material made up by mixing, in the density of 100ppm or more, antibacterial agent made up by mixing 50-90wt.% of methylolurea with N-methylolchloracetoamide. Thereby, materials made up as mentioned above can be used as interior or exterior materials for a building with antibacterial effect being preserved for a long period of time and safety being heightened. |
