DOT DATA SHIFT METHOD, RECORDING METHOD AND RECORDER USING THE RECORDING METHOD

PURPOSE: To make a speeding-up mean and an image quality improving mean compatible by employing a shift step by which an optional raster of print dots solid parts is shifted only in the solid parts of image data to be inputted. CONSTITUTION: Attention is paid to an original data of one raster when printing is made by a printer to obtain a solid part, each dot of original data is ANDed with right and left dots. Thus a solid part of the original data is extracted (S1). Then a set XOR of the original data and the solid part extracted in S1 is obtained to extract an edge part (S2). The solid parts is slid by 720dpi right and left following in the vertical direction of the following raster on which attentions is focused to produce data for a new solid part (S3). Finally, final print data can be generated by ORing the edge part and the solid part.
