PURPOSE: To obtain blended yarn of PFA yarn useful for an inexpensive raincoat, a sportswear, etc., having water repellency and perfect waterproofness against rain, etc., capable of simply wiping out stain attached to the surface. CONSTITUTION: In producing blended yarn 6 of PFA (tetrafluoroethylene- perfluoroalkylvinyl ether copolymer resin) yarn having 200-300 denier by slitting a PFA film having 5-15μm thickness into a narrow beltlike material 2 having 5-15μm thickness and 0.1-0.3m/m width, thermally drawing the material to give a PFA yarn material having 0.5-1.5 denier, crimping the material, cutting the crimped material into fine filamentous PFA yarn 4 and blending the fine filamentous PFA yarn with PET (polyethylene terephthalate resin) yarn 5 having 2-5 denier, 100wt.% PET yarn 5 is blended with 5.5-6.5wt.% PFA yarn 4.
