PURPOSE: To enhance the power of representing by making variable the three- dimensional sense itself drawn out by image synthesis when display for game is to be made. CONSTITUTION: Using a half mirror 22 a diorama virtual image is formed by a diorama housing cabinet 12 installed at the front and an image is cast on a screen 38 from a CRT 40 in a projector housing cabinet 14 at the rear so that the diorama virtual image and screen image are overlapped when viewed from the player 18. The screen 38 and CRT 40 etc., are consolidated in a projector housing 34, and the whole housing 34 is arranged as capable of running within the projector housing cabinet 14, and thereby the fore-and-aft positioning of the diorama virtual image relative to the screen image is varied. |
